Claim that Jack Dorsey is Satoshi Nakamoto - Hackers - Feb 17, 2025 This is circulating online. Someone put together a list of all the reasons why Jack Dorsey is Satoshi Nakamoto. I still think I'm the first person to say Satoshi could be Nick A.A. Mathewson, founder of Tor. Quote:WHY JACK DORSEY IS SATOSHI NAKAMOTO As seen here: https://nitter.net/search?f=tweets&q=https%3A%2F%2Fx.com%2Ffinanceguy74%2Fstatus%2F1890850549035110558 Mirror: https://nitter.privacydev.net/search?f=tweets&q=https%3A%2F%2Fx.com%2Ffinanceguy74%2Fstatus%2F1890850549035110558 RE: Claim that Jack Dorsey is Satoshi Nakamoto - badbart - Feb 17, 2025 That’s some ostensibly inconspicous idea but interesting and catchy. RE: Claim that Jack Dorsey is Satoshi Nakamoto - Omniscient - Feb 17, 2025 The mystery of who Satoshi is I pray never gets solved. I wouldn't think it's Dorsey though. I think the USA should seize all 400+ billion based on Musk violating his original student visa when he first came. As an illegal immigrant he should be deported to South Africa & have all of his funds and companies legally taken. :) RE: Claim that Jack Dorsey is Satoshi Nakamoto - Mewtwo - Feb 18, 2025 (Feb 18, 2025 09:18 AM)nodes Wrote: Are you excited for your criminal trial in 2028, no later than 2032 and hopefully sooner? By the time it’s 2028 or 2032, he gonna be a trillionaire lmfao. Probably gonna be worth more than Apple Perhaps, perhaps. Unfortunately for Musk, the White House clarified in the last 24 hours that Musk is NOT a federal employee or leader of DOGE. The fine print: He is doing everything he is doing as a private citizen. Private citizens have no authority or legal right to demand anything from agencies, which is exactly what Musk is doing. In other words, the White House is laying the groundwork for proving that Elon Musk has acted in an illegal capacity - not appointed by Trump in any official capacity. As countless judges, fed employees, and others sue DOGE for illegal access to data & illegal requests & illegal firings, it's highly likely that Musk is being setup as the fall guy. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6292633 This is most likely the start of the Trump/Musk separation. Trump would be wise to push away from him. I will not rule out a scenario where Trump actually blames 100% of the DOGE changes on Musk and the people he is leading (as an unauthorized, private citizen). This would be logical for Trump's team to prevent DOGE's illegal changes being blamed on Trump himself. I do think we'll see pushback and charges against Musk sooner than 2028, but certainly within the next administration's term. RE: Claim that Jack Dorsey is Satoshi Nakamoto - Bullup - Feb 18, 2025 Why do people always think that Nakamoto is a western developer from origin lol so much ego of western culture, his name clearly says he's not western from origin. Either way lets all hope that we never find out who he is... I invest in crypto in the hopes it becomes mainstream, not for it to turn out just a small niche industry. All that being said, Jack could have played some sort of role in the creation of bitcoin or its concept, for sure yes. I know it's not what you believe, but look into Nick A.A. Mathewson: > His name is an anagram for Satoshi Nakamoto > He posted articles about decentralized finance around same time as Satoshi & Bitcoin papers > He created libevents, which is used in original Bitcoin source code > He temporarily stopped releasing research papers when Bitcoin started really taking off > He founded Tor, collaborating with the U.S. Navy / military to create a network they could monitor, and use themselves for opsec purposes > He mentions Hal Finney & other similar names in a document > Had Asian-influenced web domains in the past > Goes by "nickm" online, which is a similar syllable structure "nakam" "nickm" > He specifically thanks Adam Back in his research paper "Adam Back for suggesting telescoping circuits; and Cathy Meadows for formal analysis of the extend protocol. This work has been supported by ONR and DARPA" : https://svn-archive.torproject.org/svn/projects/design-paper/tor-design.pdf > Other similarities exist too. I have about a dozen other reasons that Nick Mathewson COULD be Satoshi. My theory is that Nick AA Mathewson was tasked with creating BTC, but that he would've had no access to the original wallets. ---------------------------- Satoshi Nakamoto is not an American name, but that's irrelevant. He could've named himself "George Washington" and turned out to be Australian. I don't think we should think too deeply into the name, but there are many reasons a Westernized engineer would choose Satoshi Nakamoto as a name. I do think that Satoshi Nakamoto is not just 1 individual tho, the human brain is made to look for other people and accomplish things together, and imagine walking around with the idea of creating bitcoin, like nakamoto had, you would at the very least share that idea with someone, i can't imagine 1 person doing this and holding it for himself for ever, im confident he had people that he was in contact with and who share the same values and ideas as him, I find that hard to believe he did all alone. I think Nakamoto isn't 1 individual, i think it are 2 or 3 individuals, most likely 2. And i hope we never find out who. Yeah I don't think it's 1 person either. I do think it's a team technically, regardless of who was the leader of the group. My main theory about Nick M is that he was just doing work for the US Gov and that the US Gov created Bitcoin to have a fully transparent & easily tracked financial system. They can use BTC much like they use Tor - hide in plainsight, in a transparent system that has no "owner". I too hope we never find out, for the stability of Bitcoin itself. What people need to do is find (perhaps at least) 2 individuals who were in contact around that time in some way, and share similar believes and interests, that are related to the creation of a decentralized currency and had the knowledge to make bitcoin. They should look for a duo or bigger, not just 1 person. And they should also look outside the US. People just copium it's someone in the US, and it's 1 individual. It's not a damn movie lol. Either way lets hope for the future of crypto that we never find out, it's crazy that crypto's entire future depends on this. Nick AA Mathewson, lol! ![]() online free hosting Here he mentions Hal Finney & Eric Hughes as influences in his mixminion project: ![]() free photo uploader Anonymous remailers were also a big part of early Bitcoin newsletters & communications: http://bitcoinwiki.org/wiki/cypherpunk-anonymous-remailer https://github.com/nmathewson/mixminion-doc/blob/master/website/FAQ.html There's more, but this stood out too... He created a word list for seed generation: https://github.com/nmathewson/misc1993/blob/master/sublim/WORDS.CPP In here he uses phrases like this: Quote:the government is the enemy#\ In this wordlist he also mentions Bertrand. This could be a reference to Jonathan Bertrend, an early adopter of Bitcoin. It could also be a reference to Bertrand Russell. Either way, Bertrand is a name that has ties to math, algorithms, and immutable logic. I have to stop here for now, food for thought though. |
