Kind of gutted in myself, I've been shorting TSLA and have made a neat £1k+, if I had leveraged my position more it would've been a far greater sum
With the current US trade war, are you buying the dips? I feel Trump is purposefully disrupting the market with tariffs to capitalize on the market downturn, not the most sophisticated strategy, but it historically allows for buying low before market manipulation.
Interested if any short-term traders are taking advantage of this also?

Yes bro , I loaded up a lot last Friday. If stocks remained low next month or crypto I am loading up again , finally gave us a chance to get in low again. I am gona load up a lot for sure. Hopefully it rebounds soon. Probably as long as trumps around , gona be lots of ups and downs.

Nice yeah I'm expecting a lot of turbulence, looking at boosting my TSMC investments also now that Trump wants to curb the CHIPS act

Ofc it'll go up, but trading for me has become a short term thing whereas my bigger, longer term investments are elsewhere, so my question is when 🤔 where are you pulling 2026 from?

Yup, last I checked Tesla’s trailing P/E ratio was 142~, compare this Toyota (8.5) GM (5.2) & Ford (6.8). The stock is overvalued/inflated
BUT the man has unprecedented access to the US and their taxpayers' money, while DOGE has 'saved' the US about $40b, TSLA itself has received that in loans, tax credits, and regulatory credits, so he can really take the company wherever he wants.
