Session hijacking for PayPal (scammer opened a dispute) - iqos - Mar 9, 2025 So here’s the deal. Some dude opened a dispute against me on eBay through PayPal, claiming I sent him an empty box. The item I sold was worth $2K, so this isn’t just some BS, I stand to lose big if PayPal sides with him. I already know they tend to favor buyers unless I have insane proof, which I don’t. I’ve been thinking about possible ways to counter this, but realistically, I don’t see many options. Session hijacking (evilginx, cookie theft, etc.) came to mind, but I’m not specifically looking for that, just don’t see any other approaches at this point... If anyone has a more viable way to deal with this situation, I’m open to suggestions. Not looking for spoon-feeding, just trying to figure out if PayPal security leaves any room for maneuvering, or if I’m completely screwed here. If there’s a smarter way to handle this, I’d love to hear it Peace✌ RE: Session hijacking for PayPal (scammer opened a dispute) - Spikkeljuan - Mar 9, 2025 Unless you've got a video of making you putting the item inside of a box with postal label i don't see you have any big chance on winning the claim. You could try threaten him with a lawsuit. |
