Not stock but I've stacked some more Litecoin on the cheap. I can see TSLA dropping some more tbh

RE: Stock market mini-crash - DramaKing - Mar 10, 2025

Average price target is $327, so it should be a safe buy, but they haven't been doing well lately.

RE: Stock market mini-crash - Aeowulf - Mar 10, 2025

Majority of the stock market has been overpriced for a few years. COVID made stocks... funny. I pulled all my money out in 2022. I have left a lot on the table, I just don't trust the stock market and have put my investments into physical assets.

Trump himself said there will be a disturbance in markets due to tariffs but I'm wondering if we should wait until consumers are effected by the inflation (which could be months from now).

RE: Stock market mini-crash - Epic - Mar 11, 2025

If the politicians continue on their current path, the markets will be in for a lot more hurt.

PLTR looking good today, up 7% today alone. Looking at 111 MA, RSI and MACD it's a buy from me.

Look at the higher time frames on PLTR, at least the Monthly and the Weekly time frames.

Are you buying PLTR to invest or to trade?

To invest. I'm in it for the long-term.

Taking full advantage of this downturn. I'm liquidating $20,000 from my MMF and moving it into the S&P.

If there's another 5% drop I'll sell a stock I've bagged on for years ($2.3k) as they aren't going to intersect any closer in price. I'm debating whether to just throw it into the S&P or to buy SSO and not be a degen.

If there's a serious decrease from ATH's, let's say 30%, then I'll be dropping another $10k but I don't want to impede too greatly on my emergency fund.

Us markets are crashing, we can't predict bottom but averaging at lower levels may increase chances of capital gain in long run.

If you want to buy in, go for it.

Just know you're rolling half loaded dice & honestly I'd rather get dividend paying shares of some blue chips or if you want to be dangerous go play options on them instead for like a month or so out.

Technical analysis plays an important role in the market. That's the issue; lack of
education causes individuals to be impatient and buy a security to buy it without any
strong reason to buy it. Buying and hoping for the best.

Aka, I agree with you. People think lines go up and down and that's it not knowing how many moving parts a stock & it's price actually have.

TA however, if I overlay a lunar phases chart and mix in a ichimoku cloud and my reverse Fibonacci sequence analyzer...

At some point it's just ridiculous.

I have a couple friends who do just fine trading using a bloomberg terminal for early access to news / news cycles.

Understanding of option greeks and understanding of technicals are two different spectrums.

The TA models that you stated are ridiculous, that's public knowledge that many brokerages
teach, along with chart patterns and indicators. The internet ran with that and it's very widely used today.

Recycled information is pushed today because that's all people know(hence why it's very popular), and don't want
to do their own research and understand how the market truly works. Going against the current popular
TA information that's available to the public, it's not easy.

Support & Resistance, Indicators(which are counterintuitive, because it follows price action).

Fundamental factors are important as well when used in the right context. Way too many times, I've seen
participants expect the price to skyrocket or fall based on the company's earnings alone or due to a decent/bad economic
factor. Market doesn't function in that way.

You're telling me technical analysis matters when Elon Musk can literally raise his arm (and because retards that still care about 400 years ago in history during bad times)

- And TANK the share price overnight..

Regardless of how much you'd like to keep pretending your support or resistance lines matter.

Man I day-traded for YEARS don't swing at me with that 'investopedia' lingo bullshit and think because you pointed out how dramatic my examples were you have any idea what you're talking about.

Shits a joke. Be honest with the people that will be reading this.

I'm waiting for Alex Karp to raise his right arm as well ;)

I don't use support and resistance lines, haha. Just because you lack understanding of TA, does not mean it does
not work. You might think understanding and reading markets is impossible because you have no clue what's
going on, and that's why you downplay it.

Elon can tweet all he wants, but the technicals remain the same.
