Trump announces new sixth-gen fighter jet "F-47" - jcole - Mar 21, 2025

The predecessor of the F-47 is the F-22 Raptor. The F-22 Raptor is a fifth-generation fighter jet entering service with the United States Air Force in December 2005. This new generation fighter jet has been long overdue. Strong aerial warfare can be a big deterrent for threats all across the globe. Boeing was awarded the contract to start producing and providing the United States military with this next-gen tech. Apparently nothing in the world comes close to the technology in this aircraft. An experimental version of this jet has been 'secretly' flying for five years.

Quote:Details about the F-47's design remain classified. The F-47 will have "significantly longer range, more advanced stealth, be more sustainable, supportable, and have higher availability than our fifth-generation fighters"

I'm going to try and find some photos released about this plane, but doubt I'll find any high-resolution telling images. If anyone has any photos they have found please post them.

This will be some kind of Easterner glassing wunderweapon no doubt.
When you're the leader of aerial warfare globally the only thing you can do is continue advancing. With nobody to challenge innovation it's incredible how people come up with the next generation.

I do miss seeing Hackers radical posts. Never thought I'd type that.

What about the F-35 Lightning II?

The F-35 Lightning II is a stealth multirole fighter and the F22- Raptor is an air superiority fighter. The F-47 may not be classified as a multirole fighter, but could more than likely be able to perform like one.
