What brought you to HackForums? - Badge - May 13, 2025
What brought you to this site, if you're old or especially new?
Personally for me it was the introduction to hacking/hacking tools and that got me down a rabbit hole of how things work and opened the door to coding, alongside I was interested in graphic design.
plus; If you're old around here what makes you stay?

flyingduck brought me here, never heard of this site nor was I ever anywhere on the internet much. I am thankful for him showing me the ropes and since then I've stuck around because of the awesome community and people that are here.

crazy evolution.....i was looking for someone to give my reddit account to before I decided to off myself so it wouldn't go to waste, then I met and talked to members in chat daily trying to learn, then it turned into a small beginning of online friendships/feuds that made me stick around to contribute to make this experience better!
Its played a role in saving my life in one of my darkest times. While ill admite that I still consider it till this day, (never thought id admit this on HF) I try to not focus on all the debt I'm in and not having enough money. for food, hospital bills etc and focus on the great feeling of community I get from this site.
I don't have many skills to offer but the least I could do is offer my time since mine could have expired in march....

When I was in middleschool I loved jailbreaking my iPod Touch, and was just into doing unique cool stuff with technology. Also wanted to get other people to mine for me ;) but AV always got in the way of that. I think I made about $7 haha!

I had an account or two back in the day, like 2019 or something, I wasn't old enough to be on here. And I forget the name, but I couldn't find a reliable copy of Cain and Abel so I came here asking, and how to use it. I think I was trying to copy those guys who made the IP pulling videos on YouTube back in the day, but I never figured it out.

Nice man, glad to have you here! I could be wrong but I'm sure Dorrance showed me HF. I took a few hiatuses but I kept coming back I think just to see how the community has grown or what people were still round and what they've been up too

I cannot remember how i went here exactly i needed to inform myself about something so i became a member and im really glad cause of that, HF is the best hacking forum in my personal opinion and we are all here gaining knowledge, experiance and having fun on the HF chat.
