Are they on Android or iOS?
Are they using an app to text or just the standard messaging app for that platform?
Do you have access to their phone?

Hi!
- Either go the high road and do a heart-to-heart talk with him, or
- Go the low road, do a session fixation. Tell him to log into your lappy using Facebook or Instagram (there's web versions) and check out his messages via https://facebook.com/messages
Facebook SESSIDs don't purge just cos you've logged into a new device.. What is session fixation?
Cheers!
