Which currency costs the least to purchase? - ᴨᴜᴌᴌ - Jun 19, 2025 And where do you buy from personally? Lowest fee's + trans fee. Thanks. RE: Which currency costs the least to purchase? - morecoinsmorelife - Jun 19, 2025 I think lowest fees is Nano (XNO), I could be wrong on that though. Buying from depends on where you're from, Coinbase is good for US people, Kraken I like more though because Jesse Powell is cool. RE: Which currency costs the least to purchase? - Omniscient - Jun 20, 2025 Litecoin is almost always the lowest in exchange fees to withdraw. You can also do Polygon if you need smartchain. What's your goal? Investment (long or short) or spending? RE: Which currency costs the least to purchase? - SUI-3183372 - Jun 20, 2025 I won't touch on costs to purchase because that will vary wildly per exchange. Cost to transact: Zero cost transactions: Nano Block lattice architecture and account-chains allow transactions to cost nothing Zero cost or close to zero cost transactions: Tron, EOS Through staking you can achieve free transactions Extremely cheap transactions: Sui, Solana, Aptos Cheap transactions: Litecoin RE: Which currency costs the least to purchase? - Omniscient - Jun 20, 2025 (Jun 20, 2025 11:35 AM)SUI-3183372 Wrote: I won't touch on costs to purchase because that will vary wildly per exchange. Sort of true except Tron fees can be high for TRC-20 tokens if you're not staking for Energy and Bandwidth. I like Tron but I'm iffy on that whole concept especially when I can use Polygon for almost nothing without the staking. Same with Sui, high recommendation on that except for limitations on adaption. You may not find many places that accept Sui. This is why I say Litecoin. Almost everywhere you can spend BTC, they accept LTC. I know of very few places that don't take LTC as a primary alt. You may not find many places that accept Sui. I don't like Tron, EOS, or Nano, I wouldn't use those networks for any reason, was just trying to offer some impartial insights into costs. All have interesting approaches to fees, just too bad the concepts are attached to ecosystems/teams that I'd avoid at all costs. LTC definitely wins if we're talking payments, they're by far the most embedded within existing payment rails. Solana is gaining a ton of traction and will probably surpass LTC eventually, may still take the better part of a decade to get there though. Sui is the newcomer, a lot of potential, hopefully what Sui is building sticks and we see long term viability from them. Adoption will be slow but there's the most potential here. |
