You're off to a good start. Soon you'll be less focused on what Kali does and more so on how to use the tools and methods that you need for the task at hand.

you are approaching this from the wrong way. kali is just a convenient container that has pre installed tools. tools are just convenient containers that have pre installed functionality. you should be learning the concepts of computer science first and then how security vulnerabilities occur. then you can learn how to exploit the vulnerabilities and then you use the tools to help automate some tasks. tools are largely useless if you dont know what to do and kali is useless if you dont know what tools to use. if you dont know how to navigate linux, find linux tutorials.

I still feel like this is a bit condescending, anyone can use Kali out of the box. Maybe not for hacking but with some help from AI/Google you can learn the ins and outs of linux. I would personally install it/virtual boot it and force yourself to use it.

Youll be suprised how quickly you will learn to navigate the system via the shell. This does take some time, but again, use ai to help you. Its like your own personal teacher and costs nothing. Linux is a constant learning tool and its most powerful when you know python/bash scripting but again, we have AI now so aside from learning how to run scripts and ask ai why it failed, you dont even need to learn that.

As for hacking, well, learning how the network stack works is a great start.
