Need a workstation for AutoDesk Revit - SwimmingPool - Jul 11, 2025

Hello guys,

I need a new work station to do work with AutoDesk Revit software. Been looking at this: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkStation-Workstation-i7-14700-Processor/dp/B0DTMLH9B7/ref=sr_1_6?crid=30D5NADW0K7OY&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.1HWJxbH3CBeJ197wW5eyHsq8bMg42PsKttIW71kB3gFGEtsCTqO_nAnFU1qfpNYSJXpivGrRwkcfsM-a_hjkv39r10CmO52O_Th_0VtHL4ij_mXGGNPHroowsFcZz75G_mM5SShiXL0WFfFRlyjy50SWUsGs0MTgXuVX-ri1SF_prKm-FnG_ExfInSVQ-QsH1-0lrnHBdCNRrR3ddbdUF3XGi6wVWvQnxo6dTx5gmbA.UmeWpZSR67DheAmcuQYZWApDT7K3BdDfcISEIM60LxI&dib_tag=se&keywords=thinkstation+p3&qid=1752264757&sprefix=thinkstation+%2Caps%2C121&sr=8-6

I think you can build better for less. I also think you could get an RTX 2000 Ada with 16GB of VRAM for under $1600. RTX A2000 = 2021 model. RTX 2000 Ada = 2024 model.

Better than a T1000, but yeah, not great

I just bought the one on Amazon. Price is more expensive to build.

My build is actually over $150 cheaper with a newer CPU, more powerful GPU, and double the RAM.
