Maybe it's a DNS redirect. Europol may be only seizing the domains in areas where it has jurisdiction. The .is TLD servers should be within that jurisdiction, but maybe they still point to the original host.

It was full of criminals. I tried to join once but was rejected. Maybe it comes back.

Other than that , It was actual good resource regarding info sec.
Like that's what most HF people wanted. Real hacking resource and contents where they keep saying HF is dead and is no longer its roots.
XSS used to be heavy and dark but yea they removed some stuff but not much. Only removed ransomware because of that lockbit incident and other stuff.
All their deals and markets are at least $1000 and above , you don't see stuff like whatever crypter for like $50 per month lol.
I got approved by them, you actually gotta show case real skill set. But most people just buy accounts etc..
Sometimes I seen from others, if you got lucky u can show the minimum stuff and they still approve you lol...
Honestly that site was at least for those ppl who said HF is dead and is no longer its hacking roots , XSS was peak HF but yea other than the darker side and market.
The info sec section was good and full of resource.. not the best but in forum version it was legit and better tho as info sec related whitehat or blackhat.
Though,, I still see newbies begging and asking for help on simple questions but not as much as here though. But they will have responses with full resource other than here where usually it gets ignored etc..

You got me in it too, i put few threads up and had to make a deposit with the site for few k’s.

Sure, the forum hosted some criminal elements, but the freedom of speech is a human right. Freedom of speech is very weak in Europe. The same with our weak property rights. The EU is an abomination and a threat to the same human "rights" they claim to uphold.
The United States is the last beakon of hope in this regard.
