I don't think so. But let's try it... will edit this post now

EDIT: byte value deduction test

EDIT2: No, bytes are not deducted as my byte value stayed the same.

EDIT: byte price deduction test

EDIT2: No, bytes are not deducted as my byte value stayed the same.

What about for editing a thread/OP?

The reason I ask this is because I replied to someone's comment.. and I had "15,033.82 Bytes" .. and then after I replied to the comment, I edited the OP.. and when I left a comment on the next thread, I only had "15,015.82 Bytes" .. so I lost 15 Bytes some how.. and I don't remember doing anything between the 2 actions.

I didn't think this neither.. until I lost 15 bytes within that short period of time.

Now that I think about it.. I know how I lost the bytes. It wasn't from editing the post. It was for me congratulating the other guy for winning the lottery, and QLing his post. But even that should of only been 10 bytes.. no? Or are QLs 15 bytes?

Edit

I'm glad because I often preview my posts and threads, but at the same time, I edit a lot. I would be broke if the site/Scammley charged me for every edit!

There will be another reason. Have you checked your byte history?

Ah that makes sense. Well at least you have the missing mystery bytes all figured out.

Lets have a whip round and give him the 15 bytes back, come on community spirit

Now isn't that the kind spirit. Can always count on boss behavior from a boss figure. Although I'm not looking for any hand outs from anyone.. I much prefer to do the handing out myself. It's always been in my nature.

Grind hard, and bless the people! I'm a heavy believer in Karma. Do good amongst others, and it comes back 10x fold.
