-> Tried to hack my Windows 10 laptop using Beef and Bettercap on a Kali VM using VirtualBox. However after enabling everything I needed in Bettercap and spoofing my laptop, I tried to insert the .js function with my IP and everything. Yet nothing happened and my laptop doesn't show up on Beef, even after visiting vulnweb.com.
-> Used bridged adapter for my network settings and even activated SSLstrip.
-> Does anyone know how to fix this?
-> I am a beginner so don't be suprised if I suck ass.

Virtualization is great at keeping attacks like this contained, isn't it? Plus, bettercap is a pain. Yes, a bridged adapter is this right choice here and should allow L2 communication, but this can be frustrating, especially if you expect SSLstrip to do anything.
The 802.11 spec practically enforces port security, so that could be your problem.
