What’s Keeping You Motivated Lately?
Everyone has something that helps push them through the week, could be music, a project, family, friends, or even just the thought of the weekend.
I’ll go first:
For me, I'll be out of the military after 19 years in 2 weeks and will be starting my Cyber Security course at the end of October.
Your turn, what’s keeping you going right now?

Hmmm, i would say the believe that I can do better than i think, i always thought i dont have time or simply cant learn stuff i always wanted, that cybersec and stuff like this would never work for me even tho i always wanted, I am now putting in the work just knowing i can achieve it if i really want :)
Ah yes and the vacation i am on, reset my brain and i am way happier then i was before hahaha

Wow, that's huge man!! How are you feeling about this change? It's a big one!
I guess what keeps me going is the focus to become a freelancer, make my own deals and be able to work without a boss above my head. I want to have kids in a few years and I want to be ready on my terms when that happens!

I'm super excited and can't wait to start this new chapter! Congratulations on starting your freelancing gig! What will you be doing? That's awesome that you want kids, I have a 4-year-old daughter, and she’s a blessing! But there's no rush! :)

That sounds great! Loving your job, being with good people, and looking forward to the future with someone special sounds really exciting!

Thank you! Honestly anything web related. I've worked with knowledge graphs, built AI agents, scrapers, wargaming AI scenarios etc. I've been building $100k projects on my own but my boss takes the money and all i get is my salary, I guess that's why I'm mostly focused on making my own deals. :))

Right now I'm working on hacking the box, trying to make as much progress as possible before going back to work in a month. Today, for example, I launched BloodHound on the domain and I identified which users can connect via rdp, winrm, etc. and I moved laterally.

Working non stop lately, what helps me is picking a number to save by a certain time and I challenge myself to do so!

For me. I try to think about the place I want to be in a few years. I imagine all the good things. Then I imagine all the hellish things I have been dealing in my life right now and I want to escape.
When I feel good about future. I write down my future plans and then break down into smaller tasks. Cause not everyday I feel motivated when I wake up. So I look at those smaller tasks and I tell myself to do these small tasks daily at bare minimum and you will be on track.
