That's the post. Why is it worth so much all of a sudden? I mean it's worth a lot more than normal.

Not sure , if its has been increased lately. I believe it will be in a bit of pullback stage maybe due to the current on-goings & decision made by them

The dollar is valuable because it sits in 62% of the world's reserves. USD actually been losing value.

The cost of everything in the US is being purposely overpriced, so the dollar is worth more I guess?

That depends on what you're talkin about.
Currently it gained 17 points up. However, it lost value in he first quarter of 2025 and in July it gained back 3% value.
What you might mean is if you're in another country if the exchange rates of your countries currently gets you less US dollar
for your one currency then it means your counties currency is losing value globally.
Euro is stronger for 1 Euro you get $1.16 USD. just 16 cents difference.
Right now trade issues are being rearranged globally. It's going to cause Fluctuations in currencies. There will be drops and recoveries.
