[GUIDE] Staying Anonymous Online - stud - Aug 24, 2025 Full guide on how to stay Anonymous online New accounts Creating new accounts on forums such as these require usernames, emails and pseudonyms. To create a solid online persona that cannot easily be traced to you, you need to ensure that: 1. the username you are using is not unique. While this may seem strange at first, it helps to confuse anyone who is tracing you. A good way of finding a new pseudonym to use online is to go to doxbin or any dox site, go around 30-40 pages in, and find a random person. It shouldn't have too many views. From this, just steal their username, add a number or two, make it look like you are them. This will throw off anyone trying to trace you. Preferably choose someone in the United States or Canada. No particular reason, you can choose wherever. 2. Never log into these accounts on clearnet. Always route any traffic through tor. To maximise your anonymity, you may use a privacy-focused VPN such as Mullvad or LNVPN. 3. Each website you sign up to, use a different persona, or you can use the same, but for maximum untraceability, avoid using the same. 4. Always read the privacy policies of all websites you sign up to. This is to make sure they don't fuck you up by collecting, storing and/or selling personal data that can trace you back. Remember, this isn't 100% bulletproof as certain companies do not follow their privacy policies. Operating Systems Your safest option to using a computer is using a privacy-focused, hardened Linux distribution on a machine that is not your main computer. A popular option for some people is using TailsOS from a USB, however some people may opt with using more than one linux distribution (i.e. multiple layers of QEMU virtualization, with Whonix & QubesOS - for advanced users only). VPNs To add a layer of network security, you should also use a secure, private VPN in conjunction with the Tor Browser. This should NOT be something like N-o-r-d, Norton or Proton. You should use a good, trusted, no-kyc VPN such as MullvadVPN or LNVPN. Additional Information NEVER copy/paste things you see online. These can compromise your safety online. NEVER have a high ego. People are always watching. There was a story of a group of hackers getting caught solely because one of them decided to be a big-mouth online. ALWAYS remember that 99% of companies you see will collect data on you. For companies that will not mess you up, you can search for Non-KYC (Know Your Customer) services on the website: kycnot.me RE: [GUIDE] Staying Anonymous Online - Ferpill - Aug 24, 2025 interesting RE: [GUIDE] Staying Anonymous Online - Tansuri - Aug 29, 2025 Really useful, thank you. |
