Frustrated - SEO Experts Weigh In? - TheAvatar - Aug 24, 2025 I'd spent a lot of time and effort getting a site I manage ranking organically to number 1 on google for a few years now. Now 4-5 competitors have over taken me where some key search terms we are on page 2 (*cry*). I did some digging and they've all got these shady backlinks. My client was cold called a few times with some offers which he said no to - all I can assume is these backlinks are from the guys cold calling. The sites link to whatsapp msg groups and telegram groups. I'll put in code box so not clickable. Had to edit a little to bypass filter as <50posts dont allow links. I dont want you to click the links. I just want you to understand what I'm talking about e.g. Code exlinko . net /b/sdlxv-rank-website-in-3-weeks/This is from a backlink analysis of just one of the domains. The other companies have the same ones and maybe more. I'm beyond frustrated. But I'm also interested. I believe long term this strategy won't be great for the companies that have used it but I want to learn more. Is there a name for this method? What do you think will come of it? Is there a way I can counter it? Appreciate any insight from the professionals. Cheers :) RE: Frustrated - SEO Experts Weigh In? - TheAvatar - Aug 29, 2025 Just wondering if anyone has some insight on this? RE: Frustrated - SEO Experts Weigh In? - CyberGiggler - Aug 30, 2025 People often buy links from providers that sell those high quality PBN style links. Google 'frowns' upon it but it seems to work well. Try a couple providers and see how it works is usually my recommendation. |
