Just speaking of the government in general, especially the IRS/FBI/HSI, being a crypto investigator (Special Agent) doesn’t seem as rewarding for the salary they receive, not to mention the amount of time and stress it takes to investigate one case. It takes more work to investigate crypto crimes than a cold case murder cases (which doesn’t have a statutory limit).

The private sector has more promising benefits in the long term. A lot of crypto exchanges are embracing them, especially big ones like Binance.

This is why they want Digital ID imho. They unlock that it's one step closer to CBDC. There will be no financial privacy eventually. I don't think we can stop it.

Wait, she lasted only three months? After 20 years at the IRS, then poof, gone.
Now she’s off to Crypto Tax Girl. Feels like crypto tax drama has real plot twists.
