Google Dork in Depth - Oh_Well - Aug 26, 2025 For educational purposes only.
Google has A LOT of stuff. More than we could ever search in 2-3 lifetimes. So in order to find something specific, we need to be specific too. 1. The principle of specificity You are not looking for passwords. You are hunting for "AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID" site:github.com. You are not just seeking 'data'. You are searching for filetype:sql "INSERT INTO users" AFTER:2023-01-01. Precision is power. 2. Operators The operators are your foundational elements. inurl:, intitle:, filetype: . But the elite know the true power lies in exclusion. The magic word is -. intitle:"index of" "parent directory" -html -htm -php -jpg -pdf This does not simply find something. It banishes the noise until only the raw directories remain, laid bare. 3. Temporal Scrying Use AFTER:, BEFORE:, and DATERANGE: to walk through time. filetype:pdf "CONFIDENTIAL" daterange:2460670-2460671 That is not a search. It is archeology for secrets buried.. exactly one day ago :) 4. Targeting the veins, not the body Simple website search might won't give you much. Target its infrastructure. Its forgotten blogs, its deprecated development sites, its misconfigured cloud storage. site:s3.amazonaws.com -inurl:https | site:blob.core.windows.net "targetcorp" 5. The Logic Bomb This is where art is made. Combine everything. Isolate. Exclude. Specify. site:example.com (intext:"API_KEY" OR intext:"SECRET_ACCESS") filetype:env -inurl:(github|gitlab|.well-known) AFTER:2024 You are not just asking Google a question. You are giving it a syllogism. Want to access extreme depths? Try thinking: what would you say if you needed something to be kept a secret? (ext:doc OR ext:docx OR ext:pdf OR ext:xls OR ext:xlsx) ("do not share" OR "internal" OR "not for distribution" OR "internal only" OR "strictly private") -inurl:(upload|template|form) after:2020-01-01 Make sure you search for your own websites as well and detect any accidental leaks. RE: Google Dork in Depth - ForbiddenError403 - Sep 23, 2025 Very Useful, Thank you RE: Google Dork in Depth - kuraANT - Sep 24, 2025 Thx man, good luck :) |
