INTERPOL Arrests 1,209 Cybercriminals Across 18 African Nations in Global Crackdown
INTERPOL on Friday announced that authorities from 18 countries across Africa have arrested 1,209 cybercriminals who targeted 88,000 victims.
"The crackdown recovered $97.4 million and dismantled 11,432 malicious infrastructures, underscoring the global reach of cybercrime and the urgent need for cross-border cooperation," the agency said.
The effort is the second phase of an ongoing law

Hmmm, that isnt too much if you ask me, but still the amount of people getting arrested lately is rapidly rising, i never even thought that in african countries there were this many cyber kriminals

Well, 1200+ could only score 97M, where I saw some in BF who single hand ripped out over 14M in DBs and directly ripped 1M off a user!

That’s a massive number of arrests. It's genuinely impressive to see that level of international cooperation paying off.
You hear about this stuff all the time, but seeing actual results is something else.
