Anyone has experience on Mexc about frozen funds? - cyborg24 - Sep 11, 2025
I sent around $2000 worth of btc from trust wallet to Mexc and they froze my funds asking me to do kyc.
I don’t really want to do kyc as these exchanges get hacked and data gets stolen
any of you people experienced this and might tell me solution how do i get my funds back?

You've either gotta do the KYC or pay someone to supply the info you need/do it for you, but the latter is problematic and could cause legal problems.

That’s why you avoid centralized exchanges to begin with. You’re going to need to KYC or you’ll lose your funds forever. Take it as a lesson or put your identity out there.

You can try ask to close your account and revert the funds to the original wallet they were sent from, depending on their license/regulation.
But without KYC - those funds can't be released only reverted due to AML (if licensed). If not licensed they might just pulling a fast one.

Without kyc nothing can be done, also we need connect with BDM to unlock, we did previously in MEXC , bitmart, Lbank.

Honestly I will just leave mexc and go to another exchange. They’ve been doing some shady stuff lately.
