IOS & Android spyware - Dragon000 - Sep 12, 2025
Is it possible for iOS and Android spyware to easily send viruses via sms or whatsapp? And is the only pegasus script that can do this? Or are there cheap or cracked spyware programs?

You can't send viruses via SMS. It's too simple. Maybe WhatsApp allows APK attachments, but who would run an app from a spam message? Nowadays, you can't download an APK from any app and sideload it with Android Package Installer, as long as "Allow installation from unknown sources" is enabled. Apps now need a specific permission to install APKs.

You can’t send viruses through SMS on iOS. Apps are sandboxed and can’t access SMS APIs without user permission. Even Pegasus-level exploits target specific messaging app vulnerabilities directly, not “sending viruses”. They’re zero-click exploits that compromise the device when processing the message itself.
Android can theoretically be infected through messages, but not via SMS links like you’re thinking. SMS has carrier filtering, and Android’s security warnings that make this impractical. Real Android malware spreads through compromised apps on legitimate stores or requires physical access, not SMS spam.

Normal people like us will not be able to do these kind of advance exploits.
