Octoberfest award 2025 - Pumpkin color predictions - Bastille - Sep 13, 2025

It’s already been a year since the previous thread : https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6279272 , I think it’s time to make our predictions for this year

Hope Omni will maintains this event.



In case you're not aware about it, it's an event where you can win an award just posting enough on the forum, be careful tho, rules still apply, avoid LQP, spam, and so on. The event starts October 1st and ends the 31th of October.

Here are the previous awards :

Octoberfest 2021
Octoberfest 2022
Octoberfest 2023
Octoberfest 2024

For the 4th event (in 2024), Omni included threads as a requirment to get the award (30 threads). Since the first edition, the requirments have been increased. Last year they were :
- Make 600 posts and 30 threads to earn the Green Pumpkin award.

700 posts could be manageable if he keeps increasing the requirments, but more than 30 threads would be hard if we want to avoid low quality threads in my opinion.

I also think that we will only have 6 pumpkins, because if we continue to increase by 100 every year, over 1000 posts in one month would be ridiculous / insane.

So what do you think the next color will be ? Do you think you’ll be participating this year ?

I would love to see a Black Pumpking this year, maybe with orange mouth and eyes ? And maybe a gold one for the 6th (that could be the last one)

It being the 5th year and 5 years is usually a milestone. Gold would be fitting.

Not sure what I would want the pumpkin to be colored this year, but hoping the requirements are not to far out of reach. I'd really like to add the 2025 pumpkin to my accolades of awards.
