Don't Worry, You Can Mute Claptrap In Borderlands 4 - Here's How
The Borderlands franchise is known for its recurring characters, and perhaps none stand out quite as much as Claptrap. This loud and eccentric little robot has long since stood as the series' mascot for good reason, with his endearing charm and infectious good mood. But there's no denying he can be a bit loud at times--and that certainly hasn't changed in Borderlands 4. But what if you could change that?Claptrap may not be as prevalent in this new entry as he has been in some other titles in the looter shooter franchise, but his presence is still consistent enough in Borderlands 4 to warrant a rather unique slider among all the other settings. For those who find this quirky guy more of a nuisance than a lovable goof, Gearbox has added a way to adjust his volume separately from all other volumes. Borderlands 4 just came out a couple of weeks ago. I've been having a blast with it. Definitely would recommend it.

This is such a unique and funny feature for a game to add. Instead of removing Claptrap, Gearbox found a way to let both fans and critics enjoy Borderlands 4 in their own way. That’s a win for everyone.

Claptrap is a staple of Borderlands! I can't imagine them ever giving him the boot. He can be annoying at times (not so much in Borderlands 4 funny enough given this setting they included in the game lol), but that's part of his charm honestly.

I feel like having the option to mute is nice because everyone has different preferences. This way it also accommodates to each person

Completely irrelevant, but Borderlands 4 is a complete heap of shit. Even with the best computer in the world, you can't run this game without frame generation enabled. Whoever thought this game was ready for launch should lose their job immediately.

I would never mute! That would be like watching my favorite show and muting one of the characters. You deal with the good and bad.
