Does anyone have it yet and can say if it is worth upgrading or merely modding the old console?

I have both a modded switch 1 and recently bought a couple switch 2s for me and my gf. No, it is not currently worth it as there aren't enough compelling games to play YET. I'm hopeful that we can get more of the free to play games that aren't just fortnite or apex, but at this time it's kind of really not worth it unless you didn't already have a switch.
Even less sense to purchase if you have a modded switch.

Im not gonna lie I have a switch 1 the OG one, and never use it anymore. I think this is because I have a steam deck that I put a 2tb nvme in and have a SD card with roms. If you are gonna spend that much on a console I would go for something like a steam deck. Much more to play and way cheaper on the second hand market too.

Based on what I saw when it first released, it didn't seem like it was worth upgrading. Does it at least have more new games for it now? I remember it just being the new Mario Kart I believe it was at release lol. Oh and there is the a new Donkey Kong game I believe too. Still though, not much.

Bought a Switch 2 for the girlfriend, coming from PS5, and the main thing I've noticed is that the games are much more expensive and do not go on worth-while sales like things do on the PS Store.
Also, as mentioned, there are really few Switch 2 games so far. We've got the Switch 2 Mario Kart, and it's like the most not-worth-the-price-tag I've ever played.
Maybe if it ever gets chipped..
