Favourite Vacation place? - HerrWinston - Oct 3, 2025

Hello everyone what is your favourite place to visit for vacation/holidays?

For me it would definetily be Norway at a fjord somewhere up north in the middle!
Just so relaxing and chill, since 3 years I am visiting atleast once every year! :)

Well I've been to many place for only two stand out for me. Either Greece or Japan. They both have great food. different in their own way but great none the less. While Japan has the better culture, Greece has the better weather. How is Norway btw? I've never been and to be honest it's not even high on my list to visit.

I would love to visit Japan soon! Culture seems so interesting and I like the sleep on trains lol

Norway is very chill and relaxing, not many people but very kind and friendly, just imagine waking up looking out on the balcony surrounded by HUGE mountains, infront is a big lake, after eating breakfast looking at this scenery you take your boat and go fishing, because there are very big fish, after an hour of fishing you come back and make lunch, eating the 1 meter fish you just cought :)

Any recommendation you can make for Norway? Like something that is a must-see?

The beautiful beaches of Thailand and the Philippines would be a really great place to be right now. There is something really exciting about the soft sand, the beautiful waters, and the sunsets that can feel painted just for you. Truly missing those moments of absolute relaxation filled with tropical vibes

I have a buddy in Singapore trying to get me to go out there, it's on my list. Parents went to Thailand and loved it.

In Greece I've actually been around. I've done Rhodos. Great ancient city center!
I've also been to Kreta, Corfu, Athena, Idra, Kineta, and so many more xD

Thailand has so many beautiful beaches out there. Your parents must have enjoyed them. There's Palawan and Boracay in the Philippines, too, both really world-class destinations. Traveling to those places would be such a dream!

You should definitely visit Palawan and Boracay for the amazing beaches. Thailand has gems like Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta. Each place feels like paradise.😎
