Are high quality threads dying off? - Lowkey - Oct 4, 2025

Do you think that HQ threads (not just on HF) but in general on the internet forums are dying off?

I feel like less and less effort is being put into threads these days but maybe that's just me.

Hmm this is a good example of a pretty HQ thread, so I would say no!

But in general, I think there are great HQ threads all over the internet still produced but not in the mass as it was once :(

There are still some pretty HQ threads on reddit so I would also have to agree with you.

Reddit is a cesspool, and have been going downhill since they killed third-party clients.

2 things can be true at once!

Reddit IS a cesspool. Those clients are keeping bots at bay in some cases but you already know how they do on that side.
