RE: Did social media radicalize you? - 2xTheTap115 - Oct 5, 2025 I try to ensure that social media has as little influence as possible on my decision-making in every area of my life. Do you know or understand the science of why it affects you regardless of how much screentime you give it? I think that knowledge of these mechanisms has had a significant impact on the content I consume, but not necessarily on the amount of time I spend in front of the screen. Unfortunately, the second thing is difficult for me 😅 RE: Did social media radicalize you? - Lowkey - Oct 5, 2025 (Oct 5, 2025 09:12 AM)2xTheTap115 Wrote: I think that knowledge of these mechanisms has had a significant impact on the content I consume, but not necessarily on the amount of time I spend in front of the screen. RE: Did social media radicalize you? - Oh_Well - Oct 5, 2025 Yes, especially during election time I can see it changing me and making me think in ways I don't want to. I'm trying to control it but sometimes it just gets under your skin RE: Did social media radicalize you? - Lowkey - Oct 6, 2025 (Oct 5, 2025 10:47 PM)Charlie Sheen Wrote: No, it has irritated me watching others become radicalized. If you live on twitter you'd think every day is the final day. Nukes are coming, UFO's, etc. etc. People that actively use twitter need to get a job.
