What is the dumbest purchase you have ever made? - JoshAllen - Oct 4, 2025
I bought this $500 goretex winter jacket, then it became to warm, and now when I put it on, I realize how much I hate it.
It doesn't fit the best. It is overly bulky and hard to move around in it. Way too hot even when really cold. And the color doesn't go with anything.
Wish I could trade it for something better.

It's not entirely a bad purchase, but the jacket does serve its purpose 😜 Seriously though, maybe you can sell it or exchange it for something else online. That way, you might get at least some of your money back.

When I was younger I spotted a pair of baggy pants in a gym store. The colors were so incredible beautiful that I didn't have any other option than to purchase them. It wasn't until I got back home that I realized I never actually checked the size on the pants before buying. Of course the legs were tooooo short and I had to give them away.

Gortex is the shit . I’d say it’s better to have a jacket that’s too hot then one that you’re freezing in though

Co-signed for a $10k motorcycle for a dude I had just met about a month prior. He totaled it within 20 minutes of riding it and never paid a dime on the loan. I was a really, really, really stupid people-pleaser back then.

I spent like $100 on one of those massage guns. I hate it so much. IT just turns my body into a giant vibrator and gives me a headache.
