Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Stanley - Oct 7, 2025 Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? How a US SOL ETF could shift access, flows and usage — plus the key metrics to watch to see whether Solana outperforms Ether. https://cointelegraph.com/news/can-solana-outperform-ether-if-etfs-get-approved?utm_source=rss_feed&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss_partner_inbound RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - leste - Oct 7, 2025 A SOL ETF is a game-changer — but will it be enough to surpass Ethereum? RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - JoshAllen - Oct 7, 2025 I can't see why not at this point. A lot of people trust putting their money into Solana over ETH, RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Aeowulf - Oct 7, 2025 I don't know but I would love to see it. I'm over ETH. RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Fish - Oct 8, 2025 An approved SOL ETF would likely boost liquidity and visibility, but outperforming Ether depends on adoption and network activity, not just fund flows. RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - SirBets - Oct 8, 2025 Would like to see it happen but unsure RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Hackers - Oct 8, 2025 I can't rule Solana out. Good ecosystem, healthy dev environment, lots of projects, etc. However, I would really love to see both thrive for different reasons. I don't need Solana to overtake ETH in value. For me, the blockchain is about utility, immutable records, and transactions (not just financial - messages too) that can survive distance, and time. I want to know the record is correct in 50 years, and SOL/ETH can be at any value (except $0 and unused) for that to be true. RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Yanix - Oct 8, 2025 It's possible, particularly if institutional funds pour into Solana upon ETF approval. The hype alone may trigger a short-term pop. But long-term success will [BRAND NAME REMOVED] on network usage and stability. Nevertheless, such competition keeps crypto interesting! RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Pimping - Oct 9, 2025 I definitely think solana will outperform eth if they do get approved solana is more hot at the moment. its the main chain people are using this bull run besides btc RE: Can Solana outperform Ether if ETFs get approved? - Kify - Oct 9, 2025 (Oct 9, 2025 12:39 AM)Pimping Wrote: I definitely think solana will outperform eth if they do get approved Wholeheartedly agree. From my perspective ETH has more institutional users and SOL has more personal users atm, and I would think that institutions would prefer the most popular blockchains amongst individuals so they might shift. I personally also find both using it as well as developing on it way more easy to understand than ETH. Not to mention the difference in speed and costs, which updates like Firedancer will make even more clear. Honestly my only point of critique on Solana would be decentralization (or rather, the difficulty in participation), you’d need a fuck ton of money (last time I checked atleast a million $ in SOL) to break even on running a validator which have huge overheads. This leads to validators being dependant on the Solana foundation to get funding in the form of staked SOL, which come with ridiculous requirements including KYC. ETH, though also fairly pricey, has lower barriers to participation. I guess thats just the blockchain trilemma. |
