What tech skills do you plan to learn next year? - onlineuser | D3RFER - Oct 16, 2025

I’ve learned a lot this year. even after being in the cybersecurity and programming field for over 10 years. There’s still so much more to learn, and that’s exactly what makes IT amazing, there’s always something new to master.

Now that we’re getting closer to the new year, do you have any goals for what you want to learn in tech next year?

I’ll definitely be focusing more on hardware, tbh I never really been super interested in hardware itself, but I want to master as many subjects within tech as possible

I am looking into learning a new programming language, but I dunno what would be useful for me yet but I tend to find I need to learn a bit more of what I know now before jumping the gun.

Same every year, I hope to dive into programming, thought either about Python or C/C++, but every time I try I feel that my brain is not wired for this

I plan to get into AI model building.
It is the future of automation.

Yeah. I sometimes try to learn multiple things at once. Seems like the better solution is always to master one at a time.

Python is so useful, and actually not that complicated ( that’s how I feel )
It’s worth it. Put your mind to it, and I am sure you can do it.

Reverse engineering, definitely something I will be looking into also. Interesting!

Yup this is another one I want to master.

Completely agree.
AI is the future for sure, learning everything about it is worth it.
