What's something you've slowly lost interest in as you've gotten older? - Eran - Oct 21, 2025 For me it has to be gaming. At one point I was a staff member at a game for 3 years devoting multiple hours of my day to it, and this was in my early 20s even. It came to an abrupt ending and since then I slowly lost interest in gaming. Wbu? RE: What's something you've slowly lost interest in as you've gotten older? - Bastille - Oct 21, 2025 Same here ... videogames. When I'm playing I feel that I'm wasting my time and should make money instead or at least improve my skills / knowledge and something that could help in my career. Recently I've played Clair Obscur : Expedition 33, and I think that after a game like this I'll probably never enjoy playing a videogame again. I tried few others but often disappointed, it will not be easy to be as good as this one. But they're working on another game sooo ... finger-crossed ! Recently everything revolves around money, which is exactly why we get that feeling that we should be making money instead of unwinding with a game. I agree though. If only we can somehow reach financial stability for the rest of our lives, we could enjoy the things we once did :/ RE: What's something you've slowly lost interest in as you've gotten older? - Oh_Well - Oct 21, 2025 Same... I love video games but I don't have the time to get into a game and "really" play it. I always end up leaving it for a big period of time and when I come back I feel like I lost all the story and the vibe and I get bored of it after a while.. Especially the old games that you have with a very specific way in your mind.. It's too bad when it's ruined. Which games did you play back then? Mine was MW2 RE: What's something you've slowly lost interest in as you've gotten older? - kdsgvfdsk - Oct 21, 2025 Yup, videogames for me too. As soon as my gaming group drifted apart gaming wasn't anywhere near as fun anymore. Mine was MW2 MW2 is a huge one, I was only able to get the tactical nuke once but my favorite was the emergency airdrop where you get 4 of those care packages. RE: What's something you've slowly lost interest in as you've gotten older? - Jinu - Oct 21, 2025 I can relate to that. I used to spend hours gaming too, but over time other things started taking priority. I still enjoy it once in a while, but that deep passion just isn’t the same anymore. We're the generation that witnessed games getting more and more advanced, and no wonder we all got hooked to it. Now when adulthood hit, it's not the same anymore . :/ RE: What's something you've slowly lost interest in as you've gotten older? - Jinu - Oct 21, 2025 (Oct 21, 2025 10:54 AM)TRS Wrote: Very very common.
