I have some really old dll file (I think it's written in c++ or vb64) for some old game hack and the author is no longer active and I would need to make some small change in dll. Is that possible?

Would anyone be able to get source and change some part of it? I would really appreciate if someone could help me out (I can even pay if it can be done).
