Hey guys, just stumbled on this article about SpaceX and some shady stuff going down with Starlink in Myanmar. Basically, they've shut down over 2,500 of their kits because they were being used by these scam rings operating out of remote spots where regular internet sucks and maybe they are spoofing the sign ups ?
The military there raided one big center near the Thai border, nabbed like 2,000 people, and grabbed a bunch , there's even pics of soldiers posing with the gear.
I have never heard of a play like this , is setting up a starlink in a remote forest going to be the next step in OPSEC lol ?
