Silent XMR Miner - Startup & Watchdog Issues - BreathDivinity - Oct 29, 2025
Hello everyone,
This is my first post here, so please bear with me if I'm missing any forum etiquette. I've been reading through the discussions and found this community very knowledgeable, so I'm hoping you can help me with an issue I'm having with Silent XMR Miner Builder.
Problem Description:
After compiling miner with startup and watchdog enabled, it works initially but doesn't survive VM reboot. The miner starts correctly on first launch but fails to auto-start after system restart, despite watchdog being configured.
Builder configuration:

Stealth: Enabled
Anti-Analysis: Enabled

Administrator privileges
Defender disabled during testing.exe

Have to see logs to tell what the issue is. There are also different persistence methods, and it is difficult to say what is happening without knowing which one is used. At this point I might just use something else.

Are you using the one from 2021 by UnamSanctam or the new one by ByteDoktor? From what I understand ByteDoktor's is a work in progress and still unstable, while UnamSanctam's was superseded by this project https://github.com/UnamSanctam/UnamWebPanel/issues/361#issuecomment-2208790180 , which also mines XMR and is more stable, but has been abandoned for a year, however, still works.
Long-term, if ByteDoktor continues development, his project will be more trustworthy, because he has published his modified xmrig source, while UnamSanctam only published wrapper sources across his projects.

Not sure if you're using my tool but if you're let me know and i will pm you and assist you with the building process. Like a previous post mentioned my tool is still unstable and im actively working on it as we speak.

Seems like a good active support available if you are on new version.
