Bloody quantum week so far - Hackers - Nov 4, 2025

This week Nov 3 - 7 has been rough for QBTS, RGTI, IONQ and others.

Lots of losses across multiple markets, but they are shedding hard. They're up big, so no surprise there, and I will look for more buying opportunities.

These 3 are a buy for me almost regardless. I am writing this thread so we're not all just sharing wins and hiding the losses.
If you're interested in quantum, look out for those 3 in addition to main companies like Google, IBM, etc.

Also AMD & other chips are coming out with hybrid systems that can make use of quantum computing
Also there have been new breakthroughs with networking for more optimized data streams w/ quantum data

The future of hybrid machines & cloud quantum computing hours is near.
Quantum GPS has active military & defense/war contracts with US Gov.
There have been dozens of breakthroughs in the last 2 years.

Quantum is a buy, and it is a bloody week for sure.
Corrections are buys for me rn, but until I buy more, it's a loss / delay :)

You bet!
ADTN has literally flushed down the drain
MCHP is still hanging by the cliff

Yeah FEIM is my clear winner for this type of investment, quantum "aligned" companies. They do a bunch of things, but when comparing ATDN and MCHP, it's FEIM that pulls ahead for the companies dealing with timing and super specific manufacturing.

Quote:ADTRAN Holdings (ADTN) is currently unprofitable, having seen its losses grow at an average rate of 53.5% per year over the past five years. Despite the challenging bottom line, revenue is forecast to grow at 10.4% per year, just below the broader U.S. market’s 10.5% projection. Earnings are expected to increase a remarkable 123.4% per year and the company could become profitable within the next three years. Investors are likely to weigh the discounted share price and strong growth outlook against continued volatility, as sentiment now hinges on ADTRAN’s anticipated shift toward profitability.

Looks like ADTRAN is finally taking a hit for not having realized revenue/profit.

I still think we're early, and the problem is that there aren't as many alternatives to ADTN, MCHP, and FEIM as I would like, specifically for the clocks & cesium handling...

Quote:On October 24, 2025, Oscilloquartz, an Adtran company, announced the successful integration of NextNav's 5G-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technology with its GNSS-enabled grandmaster clock, delivering GPS-quality timing in both indoor and outdoor environments even without GPS signals.

This achievement highlights the potential for a terrestrial GPS backup system that addresses public safety, national security, and mission-critical enterprise timing needs where satellite signals are unavailable or compromised.

We'll examine how this milestone in 5G-based timing technology integration influences the investment narrative for NextNav going forward.

For this reason, I will buy more of ADTN at these lower prices. I think the markets have over-corrected here. We don't have many valid options to invest in for this extremely specific type of work with no-signal GPS which is the only reason I've bought ADTN.
