Whats your go-to browser setup for privacy and performance? - Artemisss - Nov 7, 2025

I’ve bounced between Brave, Firefox, and even Chromium builds. Each one has its quirks. I like privacy, but I also hate when sites break because of strict blocking.

What combo do you use extensions, settings, or tricks that gives you the best of both worlds?

Firefox (I love you firefox), Mullvad Browser, and of course TOR.

At least for firefox, a lot of pretty standard extensions like Privacy Badger, uBlock, etc...

I use Firefox. Have been using it for like a decade now.

I have a couple Ad Blockers.

Firefox works well with some about:config changes. Remember that the more extensions you use, the slower your browser will be.

I also used Firefox and Chrome for a very long time,
but switched to Brave.
It's a good browser with flexible security settings.

I've also heard about the MULLVAD browser, but haven't tried it yet.
Many people recommend it too.

I like Brave because you can enjoy watching YouTube videos without having to deal with ads. You can also use Brave on your iPhone to watch videos in the background.
