a malware and spread with a pdf exploit yes. but most of pdf exploit are specific to a pdf reader so... you mmust get a pdf reader checker script to drop the good pdf exploit to reach out cussecfully the target otherwise...

The long answer is complicated. DeathProphet explained it pretty well but I’ll comment for another reason
I admit this is not really my forte, I have never looked into LNK exploits or anything of the sort - just know that most ANYONE reaching out to you claiming they have a working PDF/PNG etc exploit is 9/10 trying to scam you.

LNK will not be pdf it hit form a different way i mean SYSTEM detect ist a lnk you can put a zip icon or no izon its still a lnk
to get sucessfull hit rate you need good method you cantn ot just spread this and add atachement and hoe they will ock it haha

Read up on PDF reader and especially browser patches since that's what people use and how software developers generally know about malware and try to prevent it.
