Now that we're 5% up at $90K+, does this mean BTC will hit 10 Million? - Hackers - Nov 26, 2025

The thread title is kind of poking fun... When we're 5% down, the world is melting. Will we hit 100 trillion market cap now that we're 5% up?

In all seriousness though, how do you deal with swings? Did any of you panic sell and then rebuy?

I am not celebrating anything right now, and truthfully, I am holding my funds for that $70K area still.

Hodl for long-term. It will yield positive results. I believe Bitcoin will stay relevant in decades to come.

Just buy, hold and go back to your shift at McDonalds.

So many people are so damn short term focused. Yes we may go back to $75k. Buy.

My strategy has been simple, buy monthly (with savings) whatever the price.. sell never!

do you have set intervals & amounts in a structured DCA, or is it more willy nilly as you see fit each month?

Never been so organized, I can buy any day of the month whenever I have some money. Sometimes it does feel bad, knowing the price is a bit high and I can get a better rate in a week or so but this strategy worked for me really well.

I'm waiting to see what the price will look like come february-april, and see how it looks :)

But a million? Gonna need a few solid years/quarters with solid investments from everywhere around the world to make that succeed. It'll truly have to become the global cash king to do it.

Holding since 2012ish…. Ain’t nothin’ gonna make me fold.

Coinbase makes this very easy if you haven’t tried it yet, give it a shot. Fully automated and you don’t really need to do anything once it’s set.

Only invest with what you are comfortable with. Over investing will ruin your mental health.

Honestly the swings only feel crazy when you’re new. After you’ve watched BTC do this for a few cycles you stop reacting to every small move. Five percent up or down in crypto is basically nothing.

I used to panic sell in the early days, but once you get burned a couple times you realise timing emotions is worse than timing the market. Now I just decide my levels and stick to them. If it hits them, good. If it doesn’t, that’s fine too.

Your point about the $70K area makes sense. I think a lot of people are still waiting for a cleaner pullback before making any big moves. Celebrating a 5 percent bump after weeks of chop feels premature.

I mean, does that look like an organic trading in an organic market to you?

I would love ~70K, but things are not always as they seem. I wouldn’t wager ANY price as it’s too unpredictable at this time.
