60 useful Linux commands - Hackers - Dec 3, 2025 Source: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/linux-commands These linux commands are very useful. Would you use a CLI terminal that provides recommended commands or LLM responses (ex: "find service on port 3000 & kill it" to receive a one-liner or two-liner command to use) ?? How many people have most commands memorized, versus how many need to google every time? I made a mini offline / local LLM powered terminal GUI that helps with this. I'm not releasing it today or anything, but just curious if this would be helpful. In the meantime, feel free to bookmark the Hostinger guide above. Now you have me interested what projects are out there that have voice recognition as opposed to the command line. If anyone who's reading has any recommendations or know of voice recognition projects powered by AI definitely drop a message (Currently I'm just using Windows built in Voice Access) RE: 60 useful Linux commands - Hackers - Dec 3, 2025 (Dec 3, 2025 08:06 AM)MadScientist Wrote: For someone who has wrist issues like me that sounds pretty interesting. If anyone who's reading has any recommendations or know of voice recognition projects powered by AI definitely drop a message (Currently I'm just using Windows built in Voice Access) Interesting idea, I'll do a voice to AI project soon for fun and share it I have done this before but hadn't thought about bringing it in to this one. Makes perfect sense - giving people a way to use CLI without knowing any commands, and without a keyboard. I fucking love what's possible. I could make that in under an hour for a prototype w/ AI. Sure we'll chit chat about it in the convo section at some point :D RE: 60 useful Linux commands - Hackers - Dec 3, 2025 (Dec 3, 2025 08:43 AM)MadScientist Wrote: Definitely an awesome concept I'm curious to follow this project if you do end up pursuing it! This is harderned. It creates on russian reverse proxy, one chinese, on islandic and one netherlands... then creates a script on a clean vps to make sure its accessible and api's to a cdn/ddns or and domain host to update the records to the next reverse server. your main server doesnt need to be bulletproof. If all servers are offline> api create reverse proxy ssh install reverse proxy on a server in palama.. and boom your back. JARVIS... whats next? The reason i pick these countries is due to different restrictions not because their badass. RE: 60 useful Linux commands - Nikola.4737n - Sep 10, 2026 Thank for sharing this with us. |
