First turn wep/easy connection method OFF. Then set a strong password like N0tTh@t3@syF3llas. Turn off remote connection and last one only allow registred device to connect. Update the firmware to stay safe ;)

As the DeathPenalty666 said.
You can and should also change the router's username and password.
And you can also whitelist only certain devices. That way no one else can be allowed to enter the network without your permission.
