Christmas is often seen as a happy time, but for some people it can be emotionally difficult. If you’re struggling this season, you’re not alone. Take care of yourself and don’t forget to check on friends who may be having a hard time too.

Xmas can be hard for those with mental health problems. It's a reminder they are lonely or depressed.
If you know someone this Xmas season that might be having a tough time, reach out to them. Be a friend, invite them over. My house is very welcoming on Thanksgiving and Xmas day to those who need to borrow a family.

For real. I think this is the time where those who are blessed and privileged with family and loved ones to reach out those in their surroundings who might feel left out and alone.

We're not guaranteed a family our whole life, some are blessed with huge family around or close to them, some dont have friends nor family.

Christmas is hard for me as it has always been family driven. My grandmother passed away around 6 years ago now and it hasn't been the same at holidays since.
Lost my brother 2 and a half years ago. It has been really tough the last couple Christmas holidays without him.
Last year I didn't even do anything or see my family and it was extremely difficult and depressing. I made sure to visit my family this year to prevent a repeat of that.
Thank you to those of you who are supportive of people in my boat/similar.

I mean, I am financially well off now days. But still Christmas is extremely hard time for me.
And it really makes me sad in a way that I am unable to enjoy it more, but what matters most to me is that my siblings are happy and they can enjoy it.
