Self-Studying Hacking Is Hard and Confusing - bigcc - Jan 2, 2026 😭 Hi everyone, I’m learning hacking by myself, without any school or mentor, and honestly it feels really hard. There is so much information online—tools, tutorials, opinions—and a lot of it contradicts each other. I often don’t know what is important and what I should ignore. Sometimes I feel like I’m just randomly learning things instead of actually moving forward. I enjoy learning, but the lack of direction makes it frustrating. If you are self-taught, how did you find your learning path in the beginning? Thanks for reading.
