Fee Free BTC - USDT pairs - Bovril Coin - Jan 12, 2026
Hi all,
on my quest to find fee freee trading i am now looking at BTC to usd futures i know MEXC offers this but i have seen alot of bad reviews looking to load about 50k usd on for futures trading has anyone used it for simalar latly and have you managed to remove funds?
Or is this offer on a different exchange that you know of or use?

MexC is fine if they do KYC in your country.

Mexc closed my account for being American. No big deal, was bound to happen.
What impressed me though was how well they worked with me to ensure I could transfer my funds out of my account. Upon closing my account, I had 30 days to withdraw my funds. For whatever reason, mostly procrastination, I forgot to withdraw about $2500 worth of assets before that date hit. Reaching out to them and working with their support was both fast and painless. They replied within an hour, extended the window of time I had to access my account, and asked me to reach out to let them know when I was done so that they could close access again.
Normally when an exchange closes your account with funds still in it, especially if you're not KYC'd, then it's a nightmare getting those funds back. Mexc didn't fuck around.

I had a similar experience with Binance in 2020. I always accidentally leaked my US IP and boom, they shut my account down, but they let me withdraw. Then I signed up again with a different account and had no problems until they found out again that I was in the USA. I think they eventually did something with the app to detect US carriers, so I was trading on the browser to bypass the restriction.
I guess those days are over now, since they took away the 2 BTC withdraw limit. I had an OG poloniex account with 1337 BTC withdraw limit with no KYC. That was taken away too.

The better exchanges are going to do this.
But I have a Q. How did they know you were American?

Bad VPN hygiene. Think I forgot to close a few Mexc tabs after disconnecting from the VPN, then absentmindedly went back to those tabs later in the day and proceeded to refresh/navigate to new pages.

LOL, tip. Use VMware that's always protected in the window so mistakes like that can never happen. Just a tip. 🤐

I used to maintain an old laptop for this purpose, in the past year or two I've gotten lazy though. A lot of restrictions placed on Americans have become looser or non-existent, or maybe I'm just less drawn to these overseas platforms, and as a result, I've been maintaining my "off-shore" trading environment less and less and just trading from my main workstation.

Oh wow iv read a lot of articles saying the opposite, have you made a new acct there? and if so how is it for withdrawals etc, do you know if you have KYC if they leave you alone?
Do you know anything about a friend making an account with KYC on their allowed country's? if this is tolerable?
