Trump wants Greenland - Maskin - Jan 20, 2026
I’m curious to hear opinions on this.
Being from a nordic country, I feel like I’m almost being attacked by USA for no reason now. I always liked the US and still do but Trump is rage-baiting the whole EU now.

I understand why he wants Greenland. Still not a valid reason to scream ”sell it to me or else”.

The world has become a changed place under the Funny Man.
We will never return to the normal America looking after the world, they are looking after themselves.
US First may be good for business, but not good for the world overall, no matter what bolstering there is, I do not think Europe want a war, if we see boots on ground in Europe from the US, the world truly is lost.

There is a difference between looking after yourself and threatening to take over a country (NATO country) by force.

You are correct, and I am saying I think NATO will fold, I don't imagine they want an actual war, I don't think Article 5 will pop if US do it, they will do a Chamberlain all over again.
