UDP flooding? - schassis - Jan 28, 2026 so i was playing cs2 when my teammate decided to boot me from the game cuz i sucked, my game froze and i eventually disconnected so i checked to see if the cs2 servers were down but i could not reach the site, my browser told me that it could not resolve the host (the game was closed at that point). so i ping my router and suddenly it works again. i joined back and my teammate did it again, so i shut down the game and pinged google.com and left it there to ping while i joined back and the guy mumbles "wtf" under his breath and instead of booting me he vote kicks me. chatgpt says (i know i know im sorry) that he somehow clogged my network cache or stack or something? and creating a new path fixed it? how does this work? what did he do? the game uses UDP and the only connection i have is to the game server and some other steam servers RE: UDP flooding? - vetbesim - Jan 28, 2026 maybe this? https://www.strafe.com/news/read/new-cs2-ip-exploit-puts-players-at-risk/ i think that he just somehow got your ip address and booted you RE: UDP flooding? - K4RM4 - Jan 31, 2026 you got ddos'd my friend. Most likely he found a way to trace the packets or some type of exploit to get your ip! |
