[Bug] Bump restriction - Artisan - Feb 19, 2026
There is a bug with the bump restriction. I tried to bump my thread around an hour ago and got the message saying that I can bump it after 32 minutes (was short 32 minutes from the 6 hours). Didn't mind it. When I went to check byte history, I noticed that the bytes for the bump was deducted during that previous attempt.
I haven't bumped since then to get this clarified. Has anyone else faced this issue?

I just tested this on my end and can confirm that despite getting the message saying my thread couldn't be bumped again yet, it did in fact still take bytes from trying. You can see proof of that in my bytes history. I tried bumping the same thread 3 times in about a minute and while it doesn't actually work given the recent restriction Omni added, it does still take bytes from the attempt. Good catch Artisan

Let me review but I was pretty sure it didn't deduct the bytes in my test.
