Alternatives to the Kleenscan? [Scantime & Runtime] - am00 - Feb 22, 2026

Hello everyone, I'm new to the HF community, and I recently realized that I don't know many other scanners similar to Kleenscan. Any recommendations?

VirusTotal exists also MalwareBazaar.

Unlike Kleenscan, they share their files

this isn't publicly available, but I made avscan using Clamav + github signature downloads & other rules like YARA from public DBs to get new detections daily.

I am selling for $400 (one time only) if interested - you get full software and domain & assistance with your server (over chat) to get NGINX & other services started up.

Hey man, that looks like a really good project. Currently I'm not interested in buying, I'm just looking at competitors in the market because I'm developing my own scanner, and I intend to share the progress here on HF. [goahead.cc]

Furthermore, this scanner looks like a scantime, right? You could make some money if you implemented it at runtime.

Check out the follow AI-powered IDEs when you can:

Cursor
Antigravity
Codex for Mac

they're all fairly easy to use and you can whip up custom software or web saas in hours or days :)

Thanks a lot for your advice , while in first it was for training to get the "Know how" before i work on product , but i like what i did so most likely i will use one of those to turn it into real AV product .

@OP i don't know any alternatives but i suggest you to test on your own side to be safe from so many things that may happen

It's a shame we don't have competition in the market; we need really good scanners for the community. We've observed strong competition among crypters
