Is there a chance to WW3 - aerozprit - Mar 2, 2026
Because the global situation is what it is, do you guys think there is a change for world war 3 in the future?

I guess we are pretty close to ww3 a small esclation could lead to a full scale war.
Like lets say iran attacks usa aircraft carrier and there are casualties

If nuclear power plants start getting hit, I can imagine that'd be a step towards it.
Nothing ever happens though.

With what? I'm not saying that the Abraham Lincoln is an invulnerable supercarrier, but the US Navy can defend against Iran's missiles just fine. And even if Trump follows through on his threat to wreak previously unseen destruction, a world war would require Iran to have alliesIran's only real ally is China, which I'm betting will merely sit on the sidelines and loudly protest that any attack on the Iranian régime's sovereignty is bad.

Probably China will just laugh and protest like u said and sell guns to Iran to get more money.

There will be no WW3. They've abandoned numbered releases and switched to a live service model with seasonal events.

I always find it funny whenever there is any type of escalation in the world, people jump to the WW3 conclusion. Sure there's a chance, anything is possible. What do you want to do about it? The doomsday clock was recently updated in January, but so what? All this stuff is out of our control.

Ill be straight here, we have been in war since 2014. Most of our governments just did not accept it until 2022.
And most of this conflict has been brewing since the late 1990's and early 2000's.
It all started with the Russian invasion of Krim, and from there it has been a downhill slippery slope.
So I would not be surprised that we would end up in a global conflict. At this point it feels more like inevitability that a distant chance.
But that is just my take on it, and I hope I am as wrong as one could be.

This is interesting. And yes then the other nato countries will be included to the war. Maybe this is what USA want's. Because the contracts clues every nato country to it. It leads to East versus West situation.

We will see how this situation will unfold, saying it will be ww3 or not is not really possible, we are closer then ever and well as long as nothing hits turkey for example, we wont have nato involved.

I don't beleive it could end in ww3, china doesn't seems to be involve and help Iran.
The only way it could have been, if muslims community massively support Iran (despite the shia sunni) but for some reasons Iran choose to bomb some muslims countries.

I believe it is a possibility, not a realistic one however. It would require big brother China to start swinging. And I don't think they want the smoke.
