Definitely check it in an unused VM for multiple days for weird calls or connections, hes pretty new and back in the day it was common for ppl to do free crypts with their binded malware so you work for them spreading their fud dropper and usually infect yourself too. Lots of binded malware has a time limit or clock time to execute so goes unnoticeable
